School Issues
We spend much of our formative years in school. School environments bring with them many unique challenges that are not easy to identify or address for many students, and you might feel like you have been dealing with school-related stressors for a very long time.
Common school issues include:
-Managing learning disability
-Bullying
-Social pressure
-Parent pressure
-Disagreement with teachers
-Managing schedules and workloads
-Managing how to study effectively
-Self esteem/body image issues
-Burnout
-Perfectionism
Among these and other presenting issues, it can feel difficult to manage your mental health, and daunting to reach out to talk to someone about the issues you are facing. You may be worried, anxious, and have been dealing with these issues for a long time.
Whether you are in high school, college, undergraduate or graduate degree program, you may find it helpful to talk to someone. Working together, I promise to hold the space for you to express your thoughts and emotions. We can work together to make your school life more manageable, enjoyable, and full of learning and growth, in a context that works for you.
