Life Coaching
While counselling and psychotherapy may be more open-ended and involve working with the complexities of relationships, mental health, thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, a life coach helps clients work through specific goals, such as with professional projects, personal goals, and life transitions, with a more directive approach.
A life coach can help you:
-Fostering accountability to improve productivity
-Assess and modify goals to ensure they are realistic, attainable, and sustainable
-Improve on a specific set of skills, such as building interpersonal assertiveness (soft skills), or learning about blockchain technology (hard skills)
-Encourage self-discovery, growth, and maturity
-Work towards independence
While a life coach can be directive and provide feedback actionable feedback, they may be limited in their ability to help you work through arising personal mental health problems. Working with a Mental Health Counsellor, you have the flexibility of getting directive support, while also transitioning your 1-on-1 sessions to personal counselling when life happens, and plans change.
Working with me, I can provide tangible and measurable feedback on how to improve your life, and take actionable steps towards change.
