Self-Esteem
Do you feel that you are often doubting yourself? Perhaps you feel like you have to hide your true self from the world, and are scared of rejection, fear, and disappointment?
Self-esteem issues can affect anyone at any point in their lives. Behind low self-esteem, we may have a hunger for feeling accepted, safe, and secure with being genuine with ourselves in front of others. However, you might feel that something is getting in the way of truly being yourself.
Dealing with low self-esteem, you might feel that you aren’t able to fully become yourself. This might lead to self-doubt in other areas of your life, like performance at school and work, or ability to socialize and make new friends. Maybe you feel like you have to hide parts of your true self from those closest to you – like family and friends, making you feel even more isolated and alone.
Working together, I promise to build a safe space to work through self-inflicted negative thoughts and emotions, and we can explore the inner voice in our heads to identify where these thoughts might be coming from, and work through ways in which we can re-orient our thoughts and feelings to be more secure and comfortable with who we are.
