Anger Management
Anger is a genuine response to feeling unheard, misunderstood, wronged, or hurt. It is a guide that helps us anchor ourselves to learning about our values. If you value equality and witness an injustice, you will feel angry.
At times, our anger responses can get in the way of healthy self-expression. We might feel overwhelmed, shut down, or find ourselves in conflict with our loved ones. Perhaps our anger response has made it difficult to communicate with others, or feel unheard and misunderstood.
We can work together to explore your anger triggers – what makes you angry? What contexts does this anger come up quicker than others? How do you respond when you get angry? How long does it take to come down from that anger?
With empathy and a mindfulness-based approach, I can help build awareness to triggers, and we can work towards building healthier, more resilient response patterns with loved ones, friends, and colleagues.
We can work collaboratively to tackle the complexities of anger, and work towards building healthy response patterns so that we have our anger under our control, and we can better communicate with those around us.
